Reykjavik, Einar Jonsson Museum

Posted 1 year ago by avatar bekky in response to avatar donny's question: Recommend me a museum to visit in Reykjavik. (give a different answer) .

Near Hallgrimskirkja there is the cube-shaped Einar Jonsson Museum, a worthwhile exhibit of work by Iceland's foremost 20th century sculptor which includes his apartment and sculpture garden. I payed 400 Ikr for seeing his mystical work. It deals mostly with classical and religious themes. Go to Njaroargata or call 551 3797 to find the location. Its open from 2 pm to 5 pm mostly.
